The development of decentralized renewable energy production associated with new uses such as electric mobility requires meeting growing needs for network flexibility. Storing electricity locally while maintaining a modular “on-demand” approach offer a flexible & cost-efficient alternative versus heavy fixed investments in electricity networks.
Leveraging this modular approach allows not only to reach A lower Levelized Cost of Storage but also an highly improved safety in ESS battery projects.
APsystems is developing a new team to structure our offer and deploy APstorage solutions in the C&I market in different markets and regions.
The OCEAN 200L and OCEAN 400L are equipped with the latest prismatic cells based on LiFePO4 chemistry, the battery packs are inside a cabinet liquid cooled for increased safety and improved battery pack life. It is compact for easier installation and transport.
APstorage C&I teams not only design the hardware and develop the software to be integrated in each cell pack, but also the full cabinet including the Battery Management Systems (BMS), the Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and the Energy Management Systems (EMS).
The applications are flexible and reliable, including virtual grid, on-grid and off-grid.
Storage requires understanding a broader energy management ecosystem. It is necessary to address the end customer’s needs for different scenarios.
Grid optimization
Taking advantage of an available stored energy, allow to size lower power grid connection than Peak EV charger power, providing more flexibility and optimization to existing network infrastructure despite ever-increasing uses.
Peak trade
Manage or trade energy to your best interest on the spot market by buying electricity when it’s cheapest and sell or use it during periods of peak demand when the electricity rate is the highest.
